Yoga positions and the practice of yoga can be beneficial to your mind, your muscles, and even internal functions like your digestive system. Reach a competent level in your own practice before taking the step to instruct others.

Practice your positions often. With yoga, the frequency with which you work on your positions is as important if not more so than the length of the practice sessions. Hatha Yoga is also known as the unity of mind, body, and spirit, through physical mastery.

Most anything you read, watch, or listen to about yoga will tell you to practice often, but one of the yoga tips that sometimes get skipped is that you must practice right. Half an hour of yoga a day, or fifteen minutes of yoga twice a day, can easily be incorporated into any daily schedule. In order to fully maximize your yoga experience, you must forget about such things as impressing your teacher and classmates.

Also, as you take your body past the limits of where it has been, you start to feel that you can move past other limitations in your life as well. Learning how to give and share is an important part of the personality yoga seeks to create in you.
